We are currently seeking a Senior Web Developer / SharePoint Architect to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA. This position requires an Active Secret clearance and is full-time onsite.
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve work-related issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead efforts to design, modify, and implement SharePoint-based software solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Plan, develop, test, maintain, and document custom applications and systems.
• Create and manage SharePoint and web-based sites using tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, InfoPath, and coding languages like C#, XML, and JavaScript.
• Deliver advanced SharePoint dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools using both built-in and custom-developed solutions.
• Contribute to the visual and functional design of internal and external communication platforms.
• Capture and analyze user requirements, translating them into actionable system features.
• Support the full software lifecycle including upgrades, maintenance, and documentation updates.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing quarterly updates or as needed.
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in web and SharePoint development.
• At least four (4) years of experience as a Site Collection Administrator (SCA) for SharePoint 2013 or later.
• Proven experience in SharePoint content management, including permissions model comprehension and user training.
• Mastery-level experience with client-side development and customization (e.g., site creation, solution development, lists, libraries, workflows).
• Expertise in development tools and languages, including:
o SharePoint Designer, InfoPath
o HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET, C#, XML, XSL
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or later and Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Experience with full lifecycle software development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, configuration management, documentation, and user support.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, version control, software testing, and quality assurance practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with military personnel, government civilians, and contractor staff at all organizational levels.
Certifications (Required):
• CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or IAT III certification equivalent.
The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government-granted security clearance.
