We are currently seeking an IT Program Manager to join our team. This position is in Norfolk, VA and is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:

The IT Program Manager shall have experience managing and leading complex projects and teams within schedule, cost, and scope. The IT Program Manager shall have expert knowledge of all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, stakeholders, human resources and communications management. The PM shall have the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and the ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and senior level IT leaders. Additionally, the PM:

• Proactively manages the project with little supervision, resolving action items, issues and risks. Leads and directs multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.

• Assesses project health and directs any necessary corrective measures. Creatively applies project management processes to address unique situations.

• Creates and applies comprehensive project plans; detailed project schedules, resource estimates, quality requirements and metrics, and organizational change management activities.

This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in engineering, math and/or science; M.S. Degree from an accredited institution by CHEA

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Required

• The PM shall have (8 years) experience successfully managing and leading the successful realization of complex projects under a budget in excess of $10M.

• Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, & Closing Projects

• Controlling and monitoring Project Scope, Time, Cost, Quality and Risk • Reporting on Project Performance

• Manage Stakeholders Expectations

• Defining and documenting project work breakdowns and monitoring project status. a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Have excellent communications skills and foster open communications on teams.

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
