We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our DTO team in Washington, DC. This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise within a dynamic environment. The Navy’s Field Support Activity (FSA)/Budget Support Office (BSO), which provides budget reporting and analysis to OPNAV, is in need of a SharePoint Administrator/Developer to lead, support, and manage their SharePoint migration.

As the SharePoint Migration Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of content and data from legacy systems to cloud-based SharePoint platforms. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a smooth and seamless transition, requiring a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, migration tools, and best practices. Given the visibility of this position, strong engagement and presentation skills are essential for working closely with stakeholders and ensuring operational continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SharePoint and platform-specific tools to support and enhance organizational processes.

• Design and develop custom SharePoint databases tailored to specific business needs.

• Manage and optimize SharePoint document libraries, including the creation and oversight of large document repositories.

• Build and maintain SharePoint sub-sites with large libraries and complex structures for better content organization.

• Develop custom SharePoint solutions using website scripting languages and frameworks.

• Develop, test, and implement enhancements and new functionalities to improve existing SharePoint solutions.

• Lead SharePoint migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.

• Oversee user access and permission management, including provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts.

• Integrate SharePoint with Power Automate, Power Apps, Office 365, and other third-party tools to automate workflows and improve collaboration.

• Document current state issues and processes and collaborate on solutions for optimization and future enhancements.

This is an onsite position with the potential for partial hybrid schedules.

This position is full time, salaried, exempt.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in strategy and transformation at scale, leading initiatives that drive business improvement.

• Strong expertise in data engineering, with the ability to structure, analyze, and draw insights from large datasets.

• Proficiency in business analysis, identifying opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

• Advanced skills in data analytics and statistical analysis, turning complex datasets into actionable insights.

• Expertise in data science and data visualization tools, such as Qlik and Tableau.

• Subject matter expertise in US Navy operations, supporting data-driven projects in a naval context.

• Background in business/economics analysis, contributing to strategic planning and operational decision-making.

• Experience in marketing and public affairs, with the ability to support these areas through data analysis.

• Strong communications and public relations skills, including report writing and stakeholder presentations.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problem-solving using innovative approaches and data-driven methodologies.

• Proficient in analytics and graphics support, developing visualizations and reports to inform leadership decisions.

• Familiarity with user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) design principles to optimize data interpretation and presentation.

• Hands-on experience with data and systems engineering tools, such as Databricks and Trifacta.

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
